Mid Century Danish 1960s Teak Extension Dining Table by Johannes Andersen

SOLD

This rare compact Danish 1960s teak extension dining table by renowned designer Johannes Andersen features a beautifully light, refined profile and exceptional craftsmanship by Christian Linnebergs Møbelfabrik. Made in Denmark, it showcases Andersen’s signature details, including finely tapered legs and softly rounded edges, perfect for modern living and smaller interiors.

Ingeniously designed concealed pull out arms extend from each end to support the two extension leaves, which store neatly beneath the tabletop when not in use. The table has been beautifully restored while remaining sympathetic to its 60 year time earned patina. The leaves are a touch darker than the main top, simply due to having been used far less.

Ideal for compact spaces, the table transitions effortlessly from an intimate footprint to a generous dining surface, comfortably seating six to eight people. A fine collectors piece, ready to be enjoyed.

Table Extends from 125cm to 217cm.
