Mid Century Danish 1960s Brazilian Rosewood Bookcase by Erik Petersen

SOLD

This striking tall bookcase is a fine example of Danish mid-century modern design from the 1960s by Erik Petersen for EP Møbler. Crafted in richly figured Brazilian rosewood, it showcases beautiful, expressive grain throughout. Standing an impressive 201 cm high, the cabinet has a strong yet refined presence. The upper section offers four adjustable open shelves, ideal for books or display, while the lower section features two sliding doors providing practical concealed storage. Classic tapered legs and a subtle, stepped organic profile give the piece a light, architectural feel.

The bookcase has been carefully hand restored, enhancing the natural warmth of the rosewood while respecting its original character. It remains in beautiful condition for its age, combining functionality and craftsmanship in a timeless design.
